We have built up a solid reputation across three generations:
the present owners' grandfather ran a successful caravan
sales business in London for many years, and the current
site was run as a family business for over 20 years before
Strand took over in April 2003. |
Strand
Caravans utilises the skills of Simon and Jayne Rand:
Simon, a fully qualified motor mechanic, left the motor
trade to concentrate on static and touring caravan servicing
and welding. So all aspects of caravan and mobile home repair
is made simple through years of experience and training.
Meanwhile Jayne was learning the business from the other
side, and working for local caravan dealers. Building the
business between them, they expanded into the sale of touring
caravans, static caravans, and second-hand spares, until
the concept of opening a shop became a virtual necessity.
After some research,
and a little negotiation, the current premises were locatable
and bought, and the new Strand era began.
Strand bought the premises, and the wide ranging stock of
new and used parts, so previous customers can rest assured
that Strand will give at least as good - or better - a service
as the previous owners ever did!
We will continue to offer new and used parts, used caravans,
mobile homes, servicing, storage, and caravan hire, at competitive
rates, and look forward to welcoming customers both old
and new.
Caravan
servicing and repair
Experts recommend that your caravan is serviced annually.
We can provide two levels of service - a basic roadworthiness
service and a full internal/external service - on all makes
of caravan. We can also make large or small repairs, and
supply/fit replacement windows, doors, ovens, fridges, etc.
We can arrange for CORGI testing of gas appliances, and
we can wire up for mains electricity connection.
