Hampton
& Littlewood provide written valuations
for insurance, probate, open market, family
division, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance
Tax.
Insurance Valuations
Where instructed to undertake
an insurance valuation, a bound document is
provided, tailor made to the specific requirements
of the client and the insurers.
Where appropriate, digital images are also incorporated
into the valuation.
The fee for valuations is worked out as a percentage
of the total of the valuation or on a time scale
(which ever is the lesser)...more
Probate Valuations
As with the insurance valuations, Hampton &
Littlewood provide a bound document (or multiple
copies if required) detailing items within an
estate.
We offer a complete service for executors, from
the initial valuation to the clearance of an
entire property.
Where necessary, arrangements can be made to
store items at our saleroom, which we would
strongly recommend if a property is empty.
If an estate is consigned for sale, the whole
auction process will be overseen by our probate
administrator, Richard Lintern, who will advise
on sale dates, estimates and results and is
always on hand to answer queries and give advice
on any aspect of the estate. When the estate
is completed a final statement is issued listing
everything that has been sold, together with
the hammer price achieved.
The fee for valuations is
worked out as a percentage of the total of the
valuation or on a time scale (whichever is the
lesser). Where an estate is subsequently sent
for auction, the original valuation fee (or
part) is refunded....more
