Auction Sales
Regular Auction Sales are held in our Exmouth
salerooms. Sales are always on a Monday (usually
six a year) each totalling about 700 lots. A typical
sale includes; Antique Furniture, Ceramics, Silver,
Jewellery, Pictures and Objects d'art.
Viewing
The Thursday, Friday and Saturday prior to sale-day
is set aside for viewing.
Catalogues
Every sale 500 illustrated catalogues are prepared
and sent to prospective buyers, plus over 1500
sale notification sheets are sent out to our mailing
list of interested parties. Catalogues are illustrated
in full colour.

Advertising
Sales are well advertised in the local and county
press, plus advertisements are taken in the national
trade papers. We also have our own website.
Buyers
We are pleased to advise prospective purchasers
as to the expected price of any lot. Written bids
may be left, in confidence, with us and will be
executed to the best of our ability.
Vendors
Clients are welcome to bring items to our office
or sale room for a sale estimate or we are pleased
to call at your property to offer verbal advice
as to the sale value of your goods. Verbal pre-sale
advice is offered free of charge.

Executors, Solicitors, Trustees
and Estates
We offer a professional service for the benefit
of administrators of estates. We can arrange
for the complete disposal of the contents of
a house or flat. We will arrange for the collection
of all the saleable items for inclusion in a
forthcoming auction sale. We will arrange for
the collection and disposal of all unsaleable
goods and rubbish. We will make sure that the
premises are left in a tidy condition. We can
make arrangements to visit the house, flat or
nursing home with you or in your absence. Produce
a verbal or written report or probate valuation
if required.
NEVER FORGET
Competition is what you need to be sure of realising
the best prices. The Auction Sale will provide
it. If you sell items privately, you will never
be sure that you have received the best price.
Valuations
Valuations of antiques and chattels can be produced
for Insurance, probate, family division and
plain sale advice.
In these days of rising crime and the criminal's
increasing awareness of what is valuable, insurance
companies and the police encourage comprehensive
records of your valuables. We provide detailed
insurance valuations with full colour photographic
records of your valuables.
Probate and family division valuations can be
prepared in brief or as written detailed records.
