The timber range is sourced from specialist suppliers chosen for their prices, quality of product, reliability and continuity of supply.
Most timber has to be imported from Europe because the grades of timber required by building specifications can usually only be satisfied by slow grown timber from the Baltics, Scandinavia and Russia.
Southern Timber has been able to establish and develop working relationships with a number of key suppliers, helping to maintain supplies despite the continuing worldwide pressures on timber supply.
