History of Linen

Historically, Linen is a word used to describe materials made from the Flax plant. Nowadays the word linen is generally used to describe the use of many modern woven textiles such as cotton, polyester and Polycotton (a name given to the blend of cotton and polyester) when used for clothing, table, bath and bed textiles.
