 Hayle
lies within 2 miles of St Ives on a 3 mile stretch
of golden beach at the eastern end of the bay
and boasts a wide variety of shops and facilities,
including a main line railway station with inter-city
links via Plymouth. At present plans are underway
for a major redevelopment scheme in the Harbour
and Estuary area which will attractively combine
Marine,  Leisure
and Commercial facilities with residential housing
whilst still preserving the original character
of the area.
The local schools cater for all ages and all have an excellent reputation. The neighbouring towns of Penzance, Camborne, Helston and Redruth are in a 10 mile radius and there is direct access to the A30 dual carriageway. Truro, the attractive county town of the Duchy is approximately 20 minutes to the north east. |
