Budleigh
Salterton is a small and unspoilt seaside resort enjoying
an exceptionally mild climate. It has a clean pebbled
beach and some lovely hinterland providing a haven for
wildlife.
The town has an excellent choice of shops and amenities offering old world standards of service. Good connections to most parts of the country are available via the M5 motorway and mainline railway connections from nearby Exeter.

The
town was made famous by literary giants such as Noel
Coward and P G Wodehouse and the artist Millais painted
the famous "Boyhood of Raleigh" using the ancient wall
still standing on the beach. Bowling croquet, riding,
tennis, golf, shooting and of course fishing are among
the many activities that can be enjoyed in this pretty
town.
The dramatic coastline, the relaxed atmosphere and the charming character make Budleigh Salterton an excellent place for all age groups, with a wealth of properties from large individual residences for the growing family through pretty cottages to elegant retirement flats. Typical Devon villages surround Budleigh Salterton including such gems as Otterton, East Budleigh and Woodbury.
